Requirements:
1. Students are required to bring the following supplies to every class:
- Three ring binder with dividers and lined paper.
- Both language arts and social studies should be in the same binder.
- A pencil case with: blue pens, red pen, pencil, eraser, highlighter, ruler, glue stick, scissors, Post-it-notes, coloured pencils and a USB flash drive.

2. If a student is absent for any reason, it is the student's responsibility to:
- Check the website's homework page for missed work and upcoming due dates.
- Get missed notes, worksheets or handouts when they return or have them sent to the office for pick up during their absence.
- Catch up on all missed assignments.
- Turn in assignments that were due while they were absent.
- Make arrangements to write missed quizzes and/or tests.
3. All assignments are to be handed in by the due date unless the teacher grants an extension and/or a guardian provides a note with a valid reason for an extension.
4. Students are to attend extra-help* if they:
- Have been absent and need to obtain or catch up on missed work.
- Need to write a missed quiz or test.
- Have overdue assignments or incomplete homework.
- Are struggling with the material being taught and want clarification or practice.
- Would like to complete homework or work on an assignment.
- Want to for any other reason.
*Extra help will be offered throughout the school year and by appointment. An updated list of times will be posted outside my classroom door and will also be available on the online calendar.
