This website has dozens of fantastic animated videos to help students understand many scientific concepts.  All of the videos are animated, under five minutes in length and feature a multiple choice quiz to assess student understanding of the topics addressed.  Only some of the videos can be accessed without a username, but you with an e-mail address, you can register for a free trial account which gives you unlimited access to all of the videos contained in this website.  These videos fit very well with our provincial curricular outcomes.

Students will love much of the interactive content within the NG Kids website.  From phonic lessons to videos that support an inquiry-based approach to learning, there are a wide range of resources available through NG Kids!

Another good website to assist with planning your lessons.  A wide variety of multimedia content and activities that will engage your students and assist you with incorporating technology into your teaching across curricular areas.

This website is home to the Virtual Owl Pellet Dissection.  It is an excellent resource for teaching students about animal adaptations, habitats, the needs of living things, etc...  For those teachers who dissect owl pellets with their students, you'll find that this online resource is a great introductory activity.
