This website has some fantastic animated videos to help young children understand different math concepts.  All of the videos are animated, under five minutes in length and feature a multiple choice quiz to assess student understanding of the topics addressed.  You must sign up for a free trial account to watch any of the videos.  These videos fit very well with our provincial curricular outcomes.

This is a fantastic resource with many different kinds of virtual math manipulatives.  The range of virtual manipulatives found at this site will help to reinforce the math concepts that you teach, regardless of your grade level.

This resource was developed in New Zealand, and it includes many engaging problem solving activities that are categorized by grade levels.  Many of the activities are very visual in nature, and the colourful animation will make this website a hit with your students.

This website contains many games and activities that will put your student's problem solving skills to the test including my personal favourite, Lemonade Stand...
Math Brain.png


This is essentially an online board game, where students have to complete a wide range of problem solving activities as they attempt to reach the finish line.  Students can choose to play at an appropriate level of ability, and they can save their progress in the game at any time.
