This website has dozens of fantastic animated videos to help students understand many mathematical concepts.  All of the videos are animated, under five minutes in length and feature a multiple choice quiz to assess student understanding of the topics addressed.  Only some of the videos can be accessed without a username, but you with an e-mail address, you can register for a free trial account which gives you unlimited access to all of the videos contained in this website.  These videos fit very well with our provincial curricular outcomes.
United Streaming.png


This resources contains a library of educational videos that are categorized by subject area and grade level.  The videos are intended to be viewed as online streaming video, but with a United Streaming membership, you can download and save these videos on your computer.  United Streaming offers 30-day free trial accounts, which provide access to all of the video content on this website.

E-Stat.png


This resource is maintained by Statistics Canada, and it contains an enormous amount of data that has been generated through the Canadian census.  These statistics can be used to graph information and create tables to observe different trends with data.  This E-Stat is another information database that St. James-Assiniboia School Division subscribes to for teacher and student use.

This resource was developed through the University of Waterloo, and it is an extension of the Math Frog resource that they have developed for students in grades four through six.  Many interactive activities that will motivate and engage students.

Accessing the Instructors section of this website will lead you to some great lessons and discussions about many math concepts.  The manipulatives and web-based lessons and activities found on this website can be used to reinforce mathematical concepts from all curricular strands.
