This diverse collection of math activities will allow students to reinforce some of their skills in all areas of the curriculum.  From fractions to percentages, sorting to continuing patterns, this resource will prove to have some worthwhile activities for young students, regardless of their ability level.
E-Stat.png

This resource is maintained by Statistics Canada, and it contains an enormous amount of data that has been generated through the Canadian census.  These statistics can be used to graph information and create tables to observe different trends with data.  This E-Stat is another information database that St. James-Assiniboia School Division subscribes to for teacher and student use.

This website has some fantastic resources that have been developed for teachers to use with their students.  There are some great online lessons and activities for students, and .pdf files that can be printed out for students to complete as a follow-up to the online learning.
Create A Graph.png

This is a fantastic graphing website, where students can input data and labels to create a variety of graphs, then the image (2D or 3D) can be instantly downloaded in a number of different file formats, including .pdf, .jpg, .png, etc...
Brainpop Math.png

This website has dozens of fantastic animated videos to help students understand many mathematical concepts.  All of the videos are animated, under five minutes in length and feature a multiple choice quiz to assess student understanding of the topics addressed.  Only some of the videos can be accessed without a username, but you with an e-mail address, you can register for a free trial account which gives you unlimited access to all of the videos contained in this website.  These videos fit very well with our provincial curricular outcomes.

Cool Math 4 Kids.png

This website contains many games and activities that will put your student's problem solving skills to the test including my personal favourite, Lemonade Stand...
A Plus Math.png

This website is the home of 'Matho!', an online math bingo game, where students race against the clock to solve math equations (or identify geometric symbols) and get a Matho!  There are also several other activities and resources for students, including a flashcard section and homework helper resources.

Your students will love some of the challenging problem-solving games and activities that are found at this website.  One of my favourites is the Book of Magic, which challenges players to create a series of number sentences in order to achieve a given number.
