 Student Registration
To register your child for school in the St. James-Assiniboia School Division contact the Principal of the desired school to make an appointment for registration. Unless the student is 18 years or older a parent or guardian must be present to register a student.
If your child is registering for school for the first time please bring a copy of the child's birth certificate. More information is available in the Kindergarten brochure to help you with this first phase in your child's education.
If you child has previously registered for school and is in middle or senior years school you need only bring a copy of the most recent report card and proof of residency.
The deadline for school of choice applications is May 15 for residents outside of Winnipeg and September 30 for residents of metro Winnipeg.
Please note that schools are closed for the summer. Please contact the school the last week in August for registration. If you are moving during the school term and need to register your child, you will still be able to register provided room is available.
